My Father served in the Navy during Vietnam on three different ships the USS Fairfax County, USS Platt, and the final ship was the USS Outagamie County. I am trying to find shoulder patches with the names of these ships on them so that I can finish a shadow box for him. He was a GMG3 I believe I am also trying to find Gunners Mate patches from the Vietnam era. Can someone point me in a direction to get this stuff for my Dad to help me complete his shadow box.
I am proud to be the son of a Vietnam Veteran. And I wish to thank all of you that read this for your service. I appreciate the sacrifices that you and your families have endured to preserve my freedoms and personal Liberty. I value all of Americas' veterans and consider you family. I am greatful for each one of you. And I hope that we can someday we can meet, because I would like to thank you in person. James Kemp
